The Retreat at Fredericksburg offers The Villa with 12 bedrooms and 12.5 bathrooms under one roof which makes gathering more convenient and intimate.  Most 12 bedroom rentals in Fredericksburg are 3-6 cottages or cabins on large acreage.  The Retreat has 33 beautiful acres with the most stunning views of the hill country and a large Vineyard only a few minutes from Main Street making it secluded yet close to the great shopping, wineries and food. 


The Retreat at Fredericksburg offers 4 experiences on the far end of the property.  We have the Bubbles, Cocoon and Nautilus all with king beds, ensuite bathroom with a shower, a hammock in the deck, fire pit and hot tub.  We call them Experiences because its more than a stay; it's truly an experience. They may be rented out if not rented by your group.  Rest assured you will never see the guests since the Domes are secluded on the opposite end of the Ranch.  There are 4 Luxury OOD Mirror Hotels containing a king or queen bed, kitchenette, bathroom, hot tub, hammock and fire pit coming October 1, 2025.


The Retreat offers an outdoor gym, heated salt water swimming pool, heated spa, pool table, Fooseball table,  Jumbo Jenga, an office with computers and a printer, a conference room with large screen smart TV/banquet room, indoor fireplace, sunken fire pit, parking for 100+ vehicles, Wi-Fi, 14 Smart TVs, fully equipped kitchen, grill, linens, towels, and more.  It is $65 a day to heat the hot tub and $200 a day to heat the swimming pool. Gas heating in January and February are $100 for the hot tub and $300 for the swimming pool.   


The price is a 4 night minimum stay +Event Fee + Extra Guests Fee (if any). We recommend checking in at 4pm on Thursday, Setting up on a Friday, Wedding and Reception on Saturday and Sunday Funday with family and friends as a Newlywed couple. Checkout at 10am on Monday (late checkout is $50/hour if available).  There’s no curfews or noise limitations.  You can hire your own vendors. We provide a vendor list if needed. You can bring your own alcohol or hire a company to do it.  


4 Night Minimum- 

There is a 4 night minimum when you book less than 3 months away from the wedding date. For example, If the wedding is 3 months away, we can reduce the nightly minimum stay to 3 nights. If you book a wedding 2 months away, stay can be reduced to a 2 night minimum. If the wedding is in a month or less, stay can be reduced to 1 night.


Event Fee-There’s a $500 event fee for less than 30 guests, $1000 for 31-60 guests, $1500 for 61-90 guests, $2000 for 91-120 guests, $2500 for 121-150 guests and $3000 for 151+ guests. Event fee includes Engagement Photo Location held at The Retreat (Photographer not included), up to 100 white folding chairs with 10 (6 foot) round white folding tables that sit 10 people each, frozen Margarita machine, Karaoke Machine, Virtual Photo Booth, State of the Art Indoor/Outdoor Sonos Stereo System that can serve as a DJ, Large Ice chest and custom built bar and vendor list of photographers, chefs, caterers, musicians and marriage officiants/pastors,. All other add-ons like pool and spa heating, early check in, late checkout, massages, yoga, etc are extra. There are no noise restrictions. 


Extra Guest Fee-  it’s $25 per guest per night after 20 overnight guests. There is no maximum amount of guests. The Retreat can sleep up to 33 comfortably.  There is parking for about 100 vehicles. There are 4 additional king bedroom suites in Domes on the property for $299/night. Payment plans are available if needed. 


Yes, the all-inclusive wedding package is a fee for catering, flowers and items beyond what an event fee covers.  There is a fee to have any type of event.  An event is not limited to the following and can include bachelor party, bachelorette party, engagement party, wedding, reunion, birthday party, yoga retreat, corporate retreat, etc. An event usually has either extra guests visiting, decorations, dj, live music, and or vendors.   An event does not include 33 or less guests who plan on hanging out and sleeping with the intention to enjoy the Villa and Fredericksburg.  Please inquire to verify if your stay is considered an event. 


Yes, otherwise there would be a 4 night minimum stay that would be required for Weddings.  The Elopement Package is for people getting married quick and requires only a 1-3 night minimum stay.  There may be exceptions if the wedding day falls on any day but Friday, Saturday or Sunday.  


Book your stay on the website and send a message indicating what package and or A-La-Carte items you want.  You will then be sent an invoice through square with payment options.   


Absolutely!  It would just be the minimum stay, event fee, and extra guest fee if any.  Choose from the A-La-Carte Menu if needed.
